TechGen aims to be sharp, credible, and useful.
- We prioritize primary sources and high-signal reporting.
- We avoid rumor, recycled hype, and low-value aggregation.
- We care about practical relevance, not just novelty.
- If we make a factual mistake, we should correct it clearly and quickly.
Our editorial bias is toward clarity over theater and real-world implications over benchmark cosplay.
How our coverage is produced
TechGen uses AI in the production of its coverage, and we would rather say so plainly than have it discovered. Candidate stories are collected and ranked by a monitored pipeline, and the drafting of summaries is machine-assisted. Every item is created as a draft and reviewed by a person before it is published, and the sourcing rules above apply to machine-assisted drafting exactly as they would to any other byline.
- Drafts are checked against the text of the sources they cite. A draft that reuses a source’s wording is rejected automatically rather than edited into shape.
- A person decides what runs. Automated collection never publishes on its own; drafts wait for review.
- Corrections follow the policy above. If a machine-assisted item gets something wrong, tell us and we fix it clearly and quickly.
