TechGen is a news site about technology people can actually use and buy. It is funded one way: affiliate agreements with tools and services our readers are already looking for.
We do not sell advertising. There are no display ad units on this site, no sponsored posts, no paid placements, no sponsored cards on our hubs, and no third-party advertising or tracking scripts. Nothing paid can move a product up our catalogue, and no partner sees coverage before it is published or can change a verified claim after it is.
When we earn a commission on a link, we say so on the page carrying the link, in plain words, before the reader clicks it. Our catalogue’s access links point straight at the vendor and never through a commission-tracking URL, and the availability and pricing we publish are verified against the vendor’s own page.
TechGen is operated by Nexus Zero, which also runs its own stores. We promote our own products here, labelled as ours. None of them sell a technology this catalogue covers; if one ever does, we will say so on the affected entries rather than leave the reader to work it out.
